EchoTale provides custom oral-memoir services: guided interviews capture your life stories, AI and professional editors turn them into a manuscript, and depending on your plan we deliver an e-book, a hardcover printed book, and a voice-cloned audiobook.

• Free tier: story recording and online reading of the e-book (with word and chapter limits).
• Paid tiers: printed books, extended word counts, voice-cloned audiobooks and more, as published on the pricing page.

02Accounts and Acceptable Use

You are responsible for activity under your account and warrant that the content you narrate or upload (text, audio, photos) does not infringe the rights of others or contain unlawful material. We may take action against violating content, including suspending or terminating the service.

03Your Content and Licence

You retain full ownership of your stories, recordings and photos. You grant us a licence to use them solely to the extent necessary to provide the service — editing, typesetting, printing and audiobook generation.

All content is private by default and visible only to invited family members. A memoir appears in the public library only with your explicit authorisation, which you may withdraw at any time.

04Voice Cloning

Voice cloning may only be used to clone your own voice, and only to produce the audiobook of your memoir. We never use your voice model for any other purpose, nor share it with any third party.

05Payment, Delivery and Refunds

Paid plans are one-time purchases; prices and inclusions are as published at the time of ordering. Printing starts only after you approve the final proof. Because printed books are custom-made, no refund is available after printing begins. Before printing, refunds are processed after deducting interview and editing costs already incurred.

06Disclaimer

AI-assisted drafts may contain inaccuracies; the authoritative version is the manuscript you approve at proofing. For delivery delays caused by force majeure or third parties (logistics, print facilities), we will assist in coordination but are not liable for indirect losses.

07Changes and Termination

We may revise these terms from time to time; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may stop using the service and contact us about purchased plans.
